The Greenfield Historical Society held its Annual Ghost Walk on October 13th. Five "ghosts" from Greenfield's past told their story to a large audience estimated at 180 people in the Old Burying Ground behind Travellers Rest.

 The tale of the Widow McCague was presented by Ann Marie Gunderman. The widow became the fourth wife of Reverend Samuel Crothers, a longtime Presbyterian minister in Greenfield and a strong abolitionist. |
 Thomas Ghormley was a pioneer farmer and involved in the Underground Railroad. Eric Salyers brought Ghormley to life for visitors. |
 The story of James Elder Kerr, Sr. was told by Jerry Parker. Kerr was a successful and respected farmer in nearby Buckskin Township. |
